Catalog

 
 
1. To create a catalog, click ‘CATALOGS’ > ‘Private Catalogs’
 
 
 
2. In the ‘Select to Download Template’ dropdown, there are two types of templates, Standard Catalog Template and Detailed Catalog Template.
 
 
 
3. In the catalog template excel, in "Headers" tab, fill in the "Activation Date" to define the date of activating the catalog. The date must be later than today’s date.
 
 
4. In ‘Items’ tab, fill in all the required fields which are in red columns and save the excel file. Green columns are optional fields and included in both Standard and Details Catalog Template. Grey columns are optional fields but only included in Details Catalog Template.
 
 
5. Click "New" to create a new catalog.
 
 
6. Fill in "Catalog Name" and "Customer", and click "Next".
 
 
7. To upload the catalog excel file, click "Upload & Validate".
 
Click “Browse” to select the catalog excel file and click “Upload”. If there is any missing field or invalid data in the excel file, system will prompt and stop the upload.
 
 
8. After the catalog excel are uploaded successfully, a pop up will be shown with the total number of line items uploaded.
 
 
9. Then, the upload items will be shown in the “Line Items” table, and the catalog status will turn to “PENDING-BUYER VERIFICATION”. You can contact the buyer to verify the catalog.
 
 
Note: 
-     If the buyer has verified the catalog but the activation date is not due, the catalog status will turn to “PENDING-ACTIVATION”.
-     If the buyer has verified the catalog and the activation date is due, the catalog status will turn to “ACTIVE”, which means that all items in the catalog are available for buyer to use in the purchasing process.
